Blog Inspiration

Recently I was turned on to something AMAZING! Horsewrite. Horsewrite is more than a product or an account or a method. You can read the whole story at their website but here is a little something from their About section that really explains what it is about:

“Horsewrite has grown into a community and brand, it is more than a journal in my eyes. I want to offer a space for all equestrians who are riding, returning to riding, appreciating the horse from afar, and all others with horses in their eyes. I connect with trainers across the globe and offer their tips and advice on my platform, I share inspirational and helpful horse quotes, and aim to support my network of equestrians.” – Anna Morton, Horsewrite

I found Anna and Horsewrite through a partnership contest with Kerrits. They encouraged fans to post to their stories using writing prompts from Horsewrite for a chance to win a prize package. This gave me inspiration to follow their account and use some prompts for writing my blog.

Sometimes I get so wrapped up in writing the perfect post or so frustrated I need to vent about things going on with my horses. I do a lot of reflecting and chatting with people about my rides and my progress, but I want to do more to make this blog thrive and maybe help other adult amateurs.

Any blog posts that come from a Horsewrite prompt, I will tag them in and label it as such. I hope Anna knows how much her work and brand means to me and how much help it has already been.

Also it is worth noting that I will at times also post a smaller blurb to my WDT Instagram, so if you follow me here and there (which you should) you might see a little duplication and cross over. Normally a post here will be expanded of what you see on Instagram.

Happy Reading!
