This is more just gonna be a BLAARRGGH post. Since Feb 7th Bacardi has been having an issue where he is very resistant to bending to the right on a circle. He feels like riding a 2×4 when going to the left he is seemingly supple and willing. And my mind is going NUTS.
I have had the chiro out, he has had massage, we are cold lasering him. We have given bute, muscle relaxers, time off. And still there is something wrong. I have a vet appt on Thursday and hopefully we will have some answers.
But I am TERRIFIED. Not for the treatment, but of what it might be. Logically I know it shouldn’t be anything big. He’s sound. He’s not presenting painfully in his feet, or his legs. No heat, no wounds. Just feels super still and resistant. And I know he is trying. I know he isn’t “being bad”. I’m just terrified I missed something HUGE and its going to be all my fault.
So yeah, that’s where we are. Might as well just take EI in May off the table. Maybe we can try from something later in the summer. Idk.
