Winter Dance Thoroughbreds is primarily a blog about my journey as a horsewoman and my passion for the Thoroughbred from conception to end of life.

While initially this blog was created to chronical the training of Bacardi, it has evolved to include more, including my involvement at the track as an owner and other fun horse adventures I have gotten to experience. 

My goals are to be able to take Bacardi Beginner/Novice in three day eventing and maybe someday fox hunting. I would also love to someday pin-hook weanlings out of sales and prep them for the annual WTBOA Summer Auction. 

I am always happy to answer any questions someone might have about my experiences, goals, or any knowledge (which is far from comprehensive) that I have picked up along the way.
